We
are a small family kennel, located in the Lower Laurentians, just
north of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Our family consists of
our 2 adult
children,
daughter Nancy- a veterinarian, son Michel - a high-pressure welder, my husband Rémi, a former Gymkhana champion,
and myself, Inga. We also have a fantastic daughter-in-law,
Michelle-Ann, who is totally involved with the dogs ( she wants to keep ALL the
puppies ! lol) as well as a great son-in-law, Jonathan, who is my
master ceiling painter !!
My
goal as a breeder is to provide an out-going, happy, healthy pup,
with natural beauty & type, which will bring its new family many, many years of
companionship & joy.
I started out
with Dobermans, training in obedience, with the late Hazel Slaughter as
my instructor . Mrs. Slaughter always had 2-3 Shelties helping her
with the class . They were always so well-behaved and very elegant.
When my last lovely Dobe girl, Terry, passed away at almost 14 yrs of age, I
decided to look at some smaller breeds, and remembering
Hazel's great dogs, decided that my next dogs would be SHELTIES
!! We
now share our home with our Shelties
& Miniature Pinschers.
All
our dogs are house dogs and spend their days either flaked out in the house (
usually under my feet, at the computer ! ) or playing out in the backyard.
In May 2010, we bought a 60 acre farm in Mirabel, that has over 10 acres of
woods, so the dogs enjoy racing through the hay fields and * hunting * in the
woods ! Skunk
hunting is NOT allowed !!! :)
Our Moms have their pups in our bedroom and raise their litters
underfoot. All pups are handled several times a day to
ensure proper stimulation and socialisation. All our pups are Canadian registered, 1st shots, vet-checked
and WELL socialized before leaving for their new homes.
Pet puppies are
sold on non-breeding
contracts, with a comprehensive health guarantee.
We encourage all our
new owners to enrol in puppy classes.
We have most colors ; sables,
tricolors and blue merles .
Premina pups have found homes in
many places in Canada ,
the
USA and Europe.
Pups being shipped outside of Canada,
must be at least 3 months old before I will send them.
Also, winter months will place restrictions on shipping.
Remember... I live in Quebec ,Canada !!!
If you have any
questions or comments, please feel free to contact me either by email or
telephone. We are just
40 minutes north of
Montreal, in Mirabel..
I am extremely proud of my dogs and it is
a joy to share them with you !!
You are always
welcome!!
